Tower Hamlets BME Advice Consortium was established in 2023 by 4 specialist BME advice service providers

(i.e. Wapping Bangladesh Association (Lead Member), Bangladesh Youth Movement, Boundary Community School, and the Tower Hamlets Parents Centre) to improve the economic and social well-being of BAMER communities in the West of the Borough of Tower Hamlets through effective, high-quality, and inclusive advice provision. 

Annually, the Consortium’s partners support 2,000+ people from BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) communities through a broad range of advice services which are client-tailored and culturally sensitive, providing advice and support in areas of welfare benefits, education, employment, immigration, debt, housing, family matters, training, and immigration settlement issues.
